I like the fact that these polls never have a more neutral option. Android 12 looks good. I’m not very excited about this, but I ARE DEFINITELY NOT upgrading to iOS.
I am using the beta of Android 12 on my Pixel and it’s so amazing, I never see myself going back to Android 11.
It’s even smoother
More like Android 10.1.1
Almost nothing has changed in 10
And that’s without cursing the nicest thing I can say about you.
Android looked better from ICS than iOS in my opinion, but you’re making iOS and MIUI look better … and that in a not-so-positive way.
Hopefully, Material You will die quickly for something that wasn’t created and tweaked to keep your job as a UI designer at Google.
A rounder user interface that desperately wants to look like iOS without its flair + greater restrictions on what you can do on your own device + a fake privacy check that still won’t allow you to control the data collected from you without your actual consent. Android keeps getting worse from year to year.

I would be so pissed off if my phone didn’t have A12
apertotes, 1 hour agoAndroid is stagnating from a design point of view. It peaked around version 5 or 6 and … moreAndroid is not at all stagnant. I’ve been using Android since Jelly Bean and Lollipop were a major design change, the next two were incremental but again Oreo was an upgrade and Pie wasn’t much better but again 10 was a big upgrade, quite substantial I would say. The next one was okay again, but 12 is shaping up to be another big good that not all enhancements are about all visuals, if you go through the entire changelog. It now takes about 2 iterations of Android to be quite different from previous versions, but with iOS it might have been the same for a long time, but what’s even worse is that it still lacks some important features. that Android has brought for years.
The Mainline project is definitely what excites me the most XD
Razr 5G fan, 2 hours ago^ This. I’m 40 years old and I stopped worrying about making my home screen look “long enough”, … moreMy home screen only contains the most used applications (10 applications).
The rest stays in the app drawer.
Android is stagnating from a design point of view. It peaked around version 5 or 6 and has been in decline since then. Modern phones are better because of their hardware, but Android is getting closer to iOS with each new update, which is the opposite of improving.

I’m shy about the material you …
but the efficiency is good, from what i saw on youtube …
fluid on a pixel 5 …
we approach the gestures of scanning the nokia n9 …
as most actions can now be performed on screen …
volume slider can record volume rocker …
and suddenly, courtesy of lg mobile will save the power button for faster wear …
it’s still good that they are there, and they will stay there longer because of the gestures …
I still love the UI design of Android 5-11, however …
Fanboy of all brands, 3 hours agoI like that one-handed use improves on Android, especially when the size of the phones has … more^ This.
I’m 40 years old and I stopped worrying about making my home screen look “pretty” a long, long time ago. Most people will never see our home screen in any way.
All I want from future software updates is stability, smoothness, and efficiency. I want improvements but aesthetics are the least I want.
Android 12 is starting to look like MIUI. Not a single user interface. Designed for the Zoomers, the new 20 year old who grew up playing GameCube or the Wii as Nintendo’s first home console.
I don’t have it yet, and I won’t pay more than $ 150 for a beta phone.
So I can’t give my judgment yet.
Google should be out of this business, we need a better operating system than the other Stealing and TrackingOS. MeeGo should resurrect and eliminate this shady business. Oh I forgot the mass of ignorance …
It can be seen that google struggles to create an unnecessary flashy UI while slowly crippling Android making it a better version of the money-making monitoring machine.
Anonymous, 3 hours agoIt’s called Oxygen OS 🙂 well done It was called. It’s not all that anymore, despite the name change;)
Anonymous, 2 hours agoAutomatic theme system based on the wallpaper you choose … Hope this can be turned off. I will … moreThere are options to vary the contrasting colors for each wallpaper and there are also default colors to choose from.
So you can configure it like the previous androids.
I think there are too many thick colors. I wouldn’t like my Google apps to be in a shade of light blue with my blue wallpaper!
